Terror strikes in Paris

The offices of Charlie Hebdo which produced a controversial cartoon depicting the prophet Mohammed were assaulted by two gunmen dressed in all black. The gunmen armed with automatic weapons and rocket propelled grenades killed 11 including a police officer before escaping in a black vehicle.

France which has the largest European contingent fighting for ISIS has been plagued by terrorism over the past year. Following today's attacks the French government raised their alert level to its highest possible level in Paris. Governments from around Europe expressed solidarity and vowed to continue fighting extremists responsible for such atrocities.
