As Coalition Strikes In Sinjar Peshmerga Make Progress On The Ground

Peshmerga Fighters Moving Into Sinjar


International coalition jets have bombed Islamic State (IS) positions on the Sinjar frontline and the west bank of the Tigris in northern Iraq.


A statement by the Peshmerga ministry confirmed that several jihadists were killed and injured during the strikes.

In Sinjar, coalition jets targeted IS bases inside the town, killing a number of IS terrorists and their facilities, according to Peshmerga Commanders on the ground

 The Peshmerga cooperated with the international coalition forces, providing intelligence and monitoring IS movements in the area.
